Composting
Participate in composting from home:
Greens: Please save your scraps from fruits and vegetables. (raw without dressings or oils on them)
Browns: Coffee grounds (with filters), tea bags (staple removed), soil, plant trimmings, and dryer lint.
Please keep in a reusable container and bring to the school. After the children add materials to the compost your container will be returned to be refilled.
If you are interested in composting at home:Many of the City waste management services offer a compost bin to customers for a $5.00 deposit. You will be amazed at how much can be added to the compost bin and thus reduce the amount of garbage going into your black bin (and landfills)! Will also cut down on the use of plastic garbage bags and save you $$$!

Please Arrive On Time
It is extremely important that children arrive on time for class. During the first line Patty demonstrates new work, show & tell takes place, and announcements are made. Late arrivals can be disruptive for the other students.
